The Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) and the Office of Advancement are excited to streamline and elevate Ohio State’s work with corporations and private foundations through a consolidated unit – Corporate and Foundation Engagement (CFE). CFE has blended the roles and responsibilities of three previously distinct offices: Corporate Partnerships in ERIK and Corporate Relations and Foundation Relations in Advancement.

Parvati Singh, PhD, MPA, an assistant professor in the College of Public Health, has earned The Ohio State University 2025 Early Career Distinguished Scholar Award. Senior leadership in the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge recently surprised Singh with the honor during a department meeting.

The Pierre Agostini Prize is the university’s most prestigious award for scholarly and artistic achievement and will be given annually to a faculty member whose research or creative work is recognized by their peers to be so groundbreaking and influential that it deserves to be called “world class” and would typically be recognized through national or international awards.

Cynthia Carnes and Ezekiel Johnston-Halperin have been named ENGIE-Axium Endowed Chair and Professor, respectively, pending approval by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees.

Srinivasan Parthasarathy, PhD, professor of computer science and engineering in the College of Engineering, has earned The Ohio State University 2024 Distinguished Scholar Award. Senior leadership in the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge recently surprised Parthasarathy with the honor at a department meeting.

Daniel Gallego-Perez, PhD, associate professor of biomedical engineering in the College of Engineering, has earned The Ohio State University 2024 Early Career Distinguished Scholar Award. Senior leadership in the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge recently surprised Gallego-Perez with the honor at a department meeting.     

Shang-Tian Yang, PhD, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering (CBE) in the College of Engineering, has earned The Ohio State University 2024 Distinguished Scholar Award. Senior leadership in the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge recently surprised Yang with the honor at a department meeting.

Jiangjiang "Chris" Zhu, PhD, an associate professor in the College of Education and Human Ecology’s Human Sciences department, and a member of the Comprehensive Cancer Center, has earned The Ohio State University 2024 Early Career Distinguished Scholar Award.
