The research development team provides strategic support for multi-investigator, cross-disciplinary research teams to help increase the competitiveness of large, complex, and strategically significant federal research proposals. The nature and scope of services vary based on the amount of time until the proposal is due and the complexity of the opportunity. We invite you to engage with our research development specialists as early possible to discuss opportunities.
Research Development
The research development team also develops strategies to grow and diversify Ohio State’s federal funding portfolio. Our team positions the university for leadership in emerging and high-growth potential areas of federal research by analyzing agency research priorities and funding portfolios, Ohio State’s capabilities and capacities, and the competitive landscape. Strategies encompass topical areas, federal agencies and pursuit of specific large-scale funding mechanisms.
